In order to provide insurance products and services that respond to our customers' diverse needs, Eaton & Berube Insurance Agency, (E&B) collects certain personal information. We may, from time to time, have associates provide you with information on insurance products or financial services that may be of value to you. E&B is dedicated to protecting the confidentiality and security of nonpublic personal information that we collect about our customers. Duties and responsibilities of E&B employees include practices and procedures regarding the collection and handling of personal information about our customers to ensure adherence to the policies and practices outlined in the notice and compliance with Federal and State regulations under the Gramm-Leach-Biley Act (GLBA). Collection of Personal Information We get most of our information directly from you. The application you complete, as well as any additional information you provide, generally gives us most of the information we need in order to process your request for insurance coverages. Sometimes we may contact you by phone or mail to obtain additional information. Depending on the nature of your insurance transaction, we may need additional information about you or others potential insureds from outside sources such as motor vehicle records, loss information reports, credit reports, court records, medical information or other public records. For property insurance, we may send someone to inspect your property and a photo may be taken to verify information about its' value and condition.
