The Eaton & Berube Insurance Agency, Inc. of today evolved from three agencies that have served the southern New Hampshire community for over 100 years.
In 1991, Cy Thibault of the Eaton Insurance Agency of Milford and Marc Berube of the Caron & Berube Insurance Agency of Nashua joined forces to become the Eaton & Berube Insurance Agency. This consolidation enables us to extend our service to all of southern New Hampshire.
Cy Thibault purchased the Eaton Agency of Greenville in January of 1976, providing personal and commercial property and casualty insurance. In 1980, to expand its customer base, the agency opened its second office in Milford. Also at this time, the agency inaugurated its financial services department, headed by Thomas P. Welden, ChFC, CLU, MSFS.
Caron & Berube was founded in 1941 as the Edgar R. Caron Agency in Nashua. Raymond Berube (Marc's father) joined the agency in the late 60's and the agency's name was eventually changed to Caron & Berube.
In 2001, Marc R. Berube, CIC, AAI became the agency's president. Marc grew up in Nashua, has worked with the agency for over 20 years, and is actively involved in its business community and Greater Nashua charities.
In 2006, the Agency expanded with the purchased of the St. Laurent & McArdle Agency and is pleased to announce the combined new Nashua office located at 11 Concord Street, Nashua. The original Peter McArdle Agency dates back to around the turn of the century, being purchased by Bob St. Laurent (deceased) in 1990 to combine with his agency, St. Laurent Associates founded in 1964. In 1998, Ronald Brochu purchased the Agency, keeping the name of St. Laurent & McArdle.

Eaton & Berube is quite diversified, with approximately 50% of its business in commercial insurance, 40% in personal insurance and 10% in financial services. This diversified range of services allows us to attract and retain a very strong lineup of company partners, enabling us to extend more choices to our customers.
